Project Description

Project 2 – DES 222 Human Experience in Design

The goal was to redesign the product to fit for localization market and to trigger an emotional connection to the consumer and brand.

Project Process

Research

The Research process discovered the added health benefits of the product, the country of origin, and the competitors.
 

Rebrand

The project goal was to make the packing more attractive for American audiences, to expand the brand’s availability to big box stores (like Target) and general purpose supermarkets (like Mariano’s). The product would be also marketed to a younger crowd and health enthusiasts.

Final Concept

The final concept focused on making the ‘FOCO’ brand stand out. The ingredients are secondary, the health benefits are showcase on front, and a QR code was added. The visual aesthetics is more eye catching and modern. Inspired by popular drinks like kombucha and hard seltzers.
